About I Can Games
I Can Games is a web site set up by Adam Dawes with the aim of writing fun and educational software for young children.
I decided that I wanted to write this software after my son Kieran was born in 2005. I was keen for him to be able to use the computer (and so was he, judging by the way he kept pointing at it and crying whenever we carried him away), but every time he got near it he seemed to find a way to delete my email messages or delete files from my hard drive. I obviously needed something he could use that would keep him away from my important documents!
So I set about creating my first I Can Games title, I Can Press Keys. With a lot of help from Kieran, I think that I've managed to create a fun environment for small children to play in. He certainly enjoys using the keyboard and so do the other children who I've shown the software to.
I hope you and your children like my software too, and that you will consider registering your copy if you do.
My intention is to write a series of games for small children, each of which will allow them to interact with the computer in a different way, or to learn something different. If you would like to see more titles released, please check back to the I Can Games web site from time to time, and please support my software by registering and telling your friends to come and have a look too.
For other software that you might find interesting (including games, screen savers and programming utilities), please take a look at my personal web site: www.adamdawes.com.
Have fun pressing keys!
